Komatsu has introduced a new 8-ton midi excavator to the European market: the PC88MR-6. It delivers outstanding productivity and operator comfort and its design makes it ideal for constrained areas and city environments.

The PC88MR-6’s new tight tail design allows it to work in total safety, with no danger of rear collisions. Its state-of-the-art CLSS hydraulic system ensures optimal performance and control, even in combined operations, making the machine superbly productive and easy to operate.

Komatsu has paid particular attention to operator comfort, a major factor in overall productivity. So the PC88MR-6 comes with a very spacious, low-noise cab with every possible comfort, from a sliding door and suspended seat to air conditioning and an optional radio. In addition, customers can choose between rubber shoes, steel shoes or road liners, and select one of three arm lengths and additional counterweights, ensuring the machine meets their requirements exactly.

For easy maintenance, the bonnets provide quick access to all parts requiring regular inspection, even in confined spaces.
