The new PC80MR-3 is at its best in any job which requires compact dimensions and high performances. The short 145mm cab protrusion helps the operator to work with no worries about hitting anything and makes this MIDI excavator ideal for road works, urban jobsites and house building. Its 2250 mm width guarantees easy transportation with a standard truck and guarantees excellent stability to the machine.

The PC80MR-3 is fitted with Komtrax, Komatsu’s Satellite Monitoring System. Machine data is easily accessible over the internet and allows owners or fleet managers to view the machines location, performance and service requirements. Komtrax can even help secure equipment, and will email the owner or fleet manager when a machine shows a caution alert or if it is activated outside an engine lock period.

For Komatsu, the MR-3 range also means high comfort for the operator. A wide entrance gives perfect accessibility to the cab. Once inside, the operator can get an immediate feeling for all the user-friendly controls, and can adjust the seat and the levers positions to his needs. Thanks to the optimal lay-out of the digital monitor, he can monitor the engine status and liquid levels, select between Power and Economy working modes, and easily switch from slow to fast travel speed. The noise level inside the cab is only 72 dB. Safety is always guaranteed thanks to the 360° all around visibility and the standard ROPS cab, travel alarm and battery disconnect switch.

The compact size of the PC80MR-3 does not penalize its serviceability. All maintenance points can be easily reached thanks to the two wide opening plastic bonnets. From the lateral cover, you can access the main valve and the fuel tank. By opening the rear cover, the operator can reach the engine, the filters and the cooling system for cleaning operations. All bushings have long maintenance intervals (500h) to reduce greasing costs.

A powerful Tier III engine (45,6 kW),  combined with the CLSS (Close Load Sensing System), ensures high performances and fine controllability in all conditions. This exclusive system delivers hydraulic power upon demand and guarantees simultaneous movements independently from the load. Thanks to the big torque output, this machine will surprise you with a high drawbar pull and its slope climbing ability.
